Cretan Products in Athens

This evening Mayors George Kaminis of Athens and Manolis Skoulakis of Chania opened the exhibition of Cretan Products on Klauthmonos square (Πλατεία Κλαυθμώνος) in the center of Athens.

Live music and dancers in traditional Cretan clothing gave a perfomance.

Visitors had the opportunity to try Cretan products, from water of the famous Samaria gorge to goat cheese by Creta farms with olive oil,  honey and paximadia. Wines, sodas, raki and rakomelo were tried.

But also some decorations, soaps and jewellery, all from Crete.

The exhibition is until the 3rd of October from 10 to 2 in the morning and from 6 to 10 in the afternoon.

And a big thank you to the municipality of Chania for the delicious 'goodie bag' with a cookbook for healthy Cretan cooking:

The only thing I was missing were some fashion designers from Crete!

10th AXDW - The Announcement!

Celebrity Skin, Celia D, Erotokritos, Stefan Caras, Miltos and Ourania Kay are the first names announced who will present their new collections at the Conference Center in Athens.
And Sunday the 23rd will be all about new designers.
As soon as I know the program I will post it.

Aaron de Mey for Lancôme at New York Fashion Week SS2012

Aaron de Mey is make up artistic director for Lancôme. He is from New Zealand and studied Fine arts at the Whitecliffe college of the Arts & Design where he specialized in painting, art history, graphic design, sculpture and photography.  Since 1998 he lives in New York, working as make up artist.
During New York Fashion Week he did the make up for L'Wren Scott fashion show for Lancôme creating a super bronze effect.

These guests are wearing the T-Shirt made by Carolina de Souza. A part of the proceeds will be donated to S.O.S. children's villages Greece.

FASHION+FUN+MUSIC 2! for S.O.S.- villages

Yesterday evening in Ano Glyfada Carolina de Souza organized a Fashion+Fun+Music event for S.O.S.- children's villages at the mini mall where her atelier is located.

Catering was done by Pleiades and wine was offered by Tetramythos.

And sweets by I love cupcakes.

During the event there was a fashion shoot by the team of Bill Patrick with the collection of Carolina de Souza. Hairstyling by Konstantinas Xatzis and Make Up by the team of Freddy Kalobratsos.
