TR2 The Synergies with Alex Kavdas

This evening Georgios Carabellas of TR2/ThissionRevisited2 organized a party at Dias in Marousi (suburb of Athens) inspired by the High School Proms in the fifties.
Master of Ceremony was Alex Kavdas, one of our favorite TV presenters.

The Athens Swing Cats entertained, featuring a live performance, inspiring the crowd to participate and there was a best dance pair competition. And I was impressed by Alex dance talent!

Georgios Carabellas and Alex Kavdas also choose the most fashionable prom King & prom Queen of the night. And their synergie was the design of sous-verres, especially inspired by the theme of the evening.

Guests had the opportunity not only to shop unique TR2 products but also to enjoy the special flavor of Fischer Premium Pilsener Beer and the Ioli Natural Mineral water.

Kayak offered special tastes of ice-creams for the event: Fizzy, bubblegum, vanilla, peanut butter, delicious cupcakes and cookies.

The 50's set was reminiscent by caramelized popcorn & punch, which was offered by New York Sandwiches.

Armani Code Homme & Armani Code Femme, the new series of fragrances by Giorgio Armani were a perfect match to the event with element of glamour, boldness and tension. During the night guests had the opportunity to learn more about Giorgio Armani face products and could try a professional make up by Face designer S. Savvas or the team of Giorgio Armani products and make up series of Giorgio Armani beauty.

P.S. In the invitation was mentioned the forties but the whole event reminded me of the fifties...as I have seen in films like Grease.

Kate Moss by Mert & Marcus for Vogue December 2011

Probably you have seen the cover of the french Vogue with Kate Moss inspired by the young David Bowie. Also I like to share it because Kate Moss is captured by one of my favorite photographers duo: Mert Alas and Marcus Pigott!
The styling is done by Emanuelle Alt.

All the magazine is about Christmas carols..I have seen several december issues and it is a pity that the Christmas spirit is missing. Maybe I am old fashioned but I would love traditional Christmas covers!

Mission Lydia at Models Awards 2011

Monday evening at Villa Mercedes in Athens George Koutoulias of Models Academy organized the Models Awards 2011 as you could see in my previous post.
Lydia Papaioannou participated, aiming to get an award too!

But she didn't get an award and got on stage again to take one herself...

 Maybe someone attending was thinking that Lydia is doing modelling but it is part of her program on MTV Mission Lydia.

Every Monday (20:00), Tuesday (20:30) and Saturday (14:00) Lydia is challenged to accomplish something that her viewers vote for on her site http://www.missionlydia.gr/.
So what will be Lydia's next challenge?

Yves Saint Laurent - Look Noël 2011 - How to apply

Friday afternoon at Attica Department Store in the center of Athens Fred Letailleur, European Make-up Artist for YSL, came to show us how to apply the new line of Yves Saint Laurent Look Noël 2011 as you could read in my previous post. Inspired by YSL's tuxedo, first designed in 1966...and the smokey eyes.

Fred started with a eye pencil

And the result

Followed by using the Eye Shadow Palette: Black Tuxedo Noel 2011, also called Noir Terriblement.
 Four matte, satiny and iridescent shades plus a highlighter. Nesting inside a gold case, adorned by a pleated belt and embroidered with the Yves Sasint Laurent logo.  It can be worn around the wrist like a bracelet.

Some guests asked for rouge and Fred showed us how to put it too.

Zinas Fashion Show at Villa Mercedes: Backstage

As part of the Models Awards 2011 on Monday evening at Villa Mercedes, Athens, there was also a small fashion show by Zinas as you could see in my previous post.

It was so dark backstage that photographers were asked to take photos of the models to check if their make up was OK...
