Burberry opens 1500 square meters in Taipei !

Burberry opened on the 26th of April a new flagship store in Taipei, Taiwan.

The shop of 1500 square meters was also the backdrop for the kick-off of Burberry World Live, a special digital "experience". On a screen of 360 degrees was the story of British heritage, but also of British weather, music and fashion. The whole thing was a combination of digital and physical effects. Like true leaves falling down, at the same time it happened on the screen.

Vicky Kaya supports World Wish Day by Make-a-Wish

Today is World Wish Day, initiated by the organization Make-a-Wish.

The mission of Make-A-Wish is to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.

The creation of Make-A-Wish was inspired in the U.S. in 1980 by the fulfillment of a wish of a 7-year-old boy with leukemia named Chris Greicius, who wished to be a policeman. On April 29th, his mother, several friends and a group of police officers, with the cooperation of the Arizona Department of Public Safety, granted his wish with a custom-made uniform, helmet, badge, and helicopter ride. Chris's magical wish touched the entire community and inspired the beginning of the Make-A-Wish .

In Greece Vicky Kaya supports the organization Make-a-Wish, last year she fullfilled the dream of a young girl participating as a model in a fashion show. Vicky Kaya taught Katerina how to walk as a model and this young girl had the honor to wear a dress by Sophia Kokosalaki, accompagnied by Orpheas Papadopoulos, to participate at the Athens Exclusive Designers Week.
Here a few photos of training and the event.

This year Vicky Kaya will grant the wish of another girl, Diana. Diana was captured by fashion photographer Genevieve Majari as a model at Fashion Workshop. For photos see here.

Presenting Mousse à Boom by Dora and Eleftheria Papadaki

Dora Moudatsou presents her collection Mousse à Boom. These are no sweets...

Photos courtesy of Dora and Eleftheria

Dora graduated architecture in Patra but her first contact with jewelry started at an early age cause her father has a jewelry shop in Santorini. Inspired by the variety in his shop she started to create jewelry for herself and her friends. Her education in architecture was an excellent base to develop and improve her skills in jewelry. Her love for sweets made her specialize in miniatures of these delicious temptations, handmade of polymer clay and porcelain.
Eleftheria loves to observe and write about fashion but also to create. She is also writing children's books, after her graduation as accountant.

The two young women met on a trip to Santorini and decided to join and develop inspiring collections of jewelry.
Their goal is to have jewelry that will be of excellent quality and meet the requirements of this time. To see a part of the collection of Dora visit Mousse à Boom.
