Introducing Dos por Dos Spring-Summer 2018

Opening my mailbox I was introduced by Dos por Dos, an Amsterdam based jewellery brand. Founded by Sandra Ray and Anouk Marrevee aiming to offer high quality and affordable jewellery.
Creating unique designs with natural materials and offering you a never out of style piece.
I enjoyed watching the variety of designs so I like to share it with you!

The jewellery has a refined look, quirky and chic, with multiple sustainable materials.
Semi-precious gemstones beads, like agate, howlite, jade, aventurine, lapis lazuli and amazonite are the main players beside freshwater pearls and buffalo horn. By adding a touch of surgical steel, 14k gold plated, makes the jewellery refreshing, innovative and cheerful.

Deep red, emerald green, blue jeans, turquoise and ivory are the main colours of the collection.

The necklaces and bracelets from Dos por Dos are made by hand in Amsterdam. The quality is high, and the designer duo claims that in 20 years you will still enjoy your Dos por Dos jewellery.

Creating a cinemagraph feat. Julia

Watching America's Next Top Model I was intrigued how to create a moving still, or better known as a cinemagraph. So I start studying it and here I share my first ever cinema graph. 

OK, it is not perfect but for a first try I like it. As I was with Julia in a studio for a fashion shoot I didn't consider well the light. As working with flash lights I didn't realise that for a film I had to but more light in it. But for me it was a challenge how to create the moving hair.

My first cinemagraph - just finding out how it works!

So I like to share with you how I created it.

1. I filmed Julia for like 5 seconds, as the film was very dark I brightened it.
2. Imported the film in Adobe Photoshop, created a still of the film
3. Created a layer mask for her hair
4. I exported the file as a gif and here is the result!
