So here my last post on the designers taking part at Athens Exclusive Designers Week. Since I haven't done any catwalk photos on these designers I am looking forward to see their creations. Two from Athens, one from London and one from New York.
Deppy Bournazou for de Bour Shoe Studio will start at seven o'clock, presenting her fall/winter 2011/2012 footwear collection, a playful and aesthetically dismantled manifestation of the glamorous and fierce side of women.
Followed at 19.30 by Ippolito. Pavlina Papailiopoulous us the designer behind this label. In previous posts I have introduced you to this young talented designer of accessories and I am looking forward how her show will be.
"Pavlina's Ippolito's essence is high quality timeless shapes and about attention to detail. After all, it's the little things that make all the difference."
At 20:30 Melissa Diamantidis will present her new collection. Melissa graduated from Parsons, New York, in 2008, and in the same year, moved to London to work under the guidance of Roland Mouret. She reflects on this time as the most formative in her design career as it filled her with the determination and confidence to launch her own label. Sure enough, six months later and out of her own flat Melissa started to work on her own collection.
Indashio, a New York based designer will present his collection in Athens at around nine o'clock. Let us see what he as fashion designer for celebrities in New York will show the Athenians.
