Henri Cartier-Bresson (1908 - 2004) was a French photographer considered to be the father of modern photojournalism. He was an early adopter of 35 mm format and the master of candid photography. In 1932 he first used a Leica and his life-long passion for photography started.
He was one of the founders of Magnum Photos.
