Today at a dutch department store 'De Bijenkorf' in The Hague Michael Barnaart van Bergen presented his collection 'Hommage', six
dresses inspired by famous artists, designers and icons, with the cooperation of The Hague Gemeentemuseum. On the third of September Gemeentemuseum will open an exhibition Fashion and Art: A Passionate Affair. Read also my next post.
The most eye catching is the dress inspired by a painting of Piet Mondriaan, Yves Saint Laurent did this dress already in 1965.
