Doutzen Kroes debuts as actress in Nova Zembla

Doutzen Kroes is set to star in the first 3D Dutch film called Nova Zembla, directed by Reinout Oerlemans.

Nova Zembla tells the legendary true story of adventurous exploration mission of Willem Barents (Derek de Lint) in the Arctic in 1596, which then is recorded by the young crew member Gerrit de Veer (Robert de Hoog).
Doutzen plays the beautiful daughter Catherine of referend Peter Plancius (Jan Decleir). Gerrit de Veer is send on this mission by Plancius to prove the love of his daughter worth and Catherine falls in love...

The film will hit theaters in the Netherlands on November 24th!
