The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo by H&M

Between Versace and Marni H&M will launch a collection inspired by anti-heroine Lisbeth Salander's The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo on the 14th of December.

It is the launch of the first film collaboration. On December 21st the American film "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" premieres. The film is based on the best-selling novel by Swedish author Stieg Larsson and it was shot in Stockholm. The movie is directed by star director David Fincher and the lead characters are played by Rooney Mara and Daniel Craig. I loved reading the Millenium trilogy and if the film is as exiting and fascinating as the books it is gonna be a success!

Let us now see some pieces of the collection.

The lines exits of 30 pieces and will be available at 180 H&M Stores worldwide.

“Salander’s look is very real and very lived in, with pieces that her character has worn for a long time, like her jackets that act as her armour to shield her from the world,” Summerville said in a release. “I wanted the collection to have the essence and strength of Salander, with a fashion edge.”

Not seeing Lisbeth Salander, only my own imagination I had of her by reading Stieg Larsson character I think Trish Summerville did a wonderful job!

Have a look at the behind-the-scene footage from the photo shoot, including interviews with Trish Summerville, the costume designer of the film "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo", and also the designer of this collection and model Sara Blomqvist.
