The 16th edition of Amsterdam Fashion Week (25-29 january 2012) has been very successful according to the organization. The Amsterdam Fashion Week UPTOWN program at the Westergasterrein attracted nearly 20,000 visitors. The program, which is focused on international fashion professionals, brought together
fashion designers, press, buyers and retailers nationwide as well as guests of the designers and sponsors. One of the highlights was the visit of Crown Princess Maxima at The Green Fashion Competition, wearing dutch design by Jan Taminiau.
