Wednesday afternoon I was invited by Andria to visit her atelier in Kolonaki and have a chat with other representatives of the press, looking at her spring/summer 2012 collection.
During the 14th Athens Fashion Week we have seen her collection (click here to see a glimpse) but now we could feel the natural fabrics, admire the details of each garment and the craftsmanship and meet and chat with the designer in person. Andria's slogan is

Andria Papadopoulou was born in Henckenkirhen, Germany and grew up in Thessaloniki, Greece. She studied Fine Arts, Semiology and Psychology at Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne, in Paris.
The French Institute, which counts graduates such as Yves Saint Laurent, Issey Miyake and Jean Paul Gaultier amongst others, made her see clothes as a reflection of one’s mood.
After completing her practice at the House of Dior, she worked there and choose luxe prêt-a-porter as her field of action. She then won the first prize at the competition Concours De Jeunes Creatures and saw her creations travel to a French fashion show in Tokyo. Following her return to Greece, she took her first steps as a creative director of various established ready-to-wear brands.
In 1999 she opened her first private atelier in Thessaloniki, to be followed by her Athens atelier.
