To commemorate the evening, Corrie Nielsen and The Wren Press have joined forces on a unique series of fashion illustrations by Corrie Nielsen, printed by The Wren Press - all themed around the event. The original sketches will be auctioned off at the event to raise money for the charity and each attendee will receive a limited edition set of post-card sized prints.
Fascinated by form and design from young age as the daughter of a prominent American sculptor, Corrie Nielsen obtained a First Class Honours from Central Saint Martins and worked in bespoke tailoring before launching her eponymous label. Her impressive background includes being selected by John Galliano as the winner of the prestigious Fashion Fringe 2010 platform, establishing her as the emerging designer to watch out for. Drawing inspiration from historical periods and aristocracy, and combining her fascination of architectural forms and designs, she is lauded by the fashion press as a modern couturier with a truly unique aesthetic vision.
"I have always been a fan of luxury stationary and am delighted to be working with The Wren Press. Design and print are a natural match and we're going to create something truly beautiful for Fashion for the Brave," says Corrie Nielsen.
