The organisation sees the Floating Fashion Week (FFW) as a tribute to the new King and Queen. King Willem-Alexander has made his achievements in the field of water management at international level. Queen Máxima, who asked Dutch designer Jan Taminiau to design her royal inauguration dress is seen by many as a style icon, promoting the Dutch fashion scene internationally.
Part of the programme of Floating Fashion Week (FFW) Portuguese fashion designer Jorge Ferreira of the brand Vicri will show his latest collection of men’s clothes.
Dutch shoe designer Jan Jansen will show a special collection of design shoes on the 22nd of May. Stephanie Tency, Miss Netherlands Universe 2013 will present a Mix and Match fashion show on the 27th of May.
During the Floating Fashion Week (FFW), also the Dutch Model Awards powered by Apivita Natural Beauty will be granted. In recent years, Doutzen Kroes, Frederique van der Wal, Yfke Sturm and Ymre Stiekema received an Award.
