This weekend starts the four-day festival at the National Garden in the center of Athens, come and enjoy the ‘garden of arts’ as part of the “Athens Gardens Festival”, hosting urban acoustic music and performing arts.
From the 15th until the 18th of June, four days long, Greek art music, classical music and other European nuances, various Mediterranean genres, soundtrack, jazz and interactive performing arts, pantomime and visual performances will turn the National Garden into a magical place of artistic expression and creativity.
The festival is taking place as part of the annual program “Gardens of Athens” aiming at promoting the gardens of our city as meeting points of art and culture in general (including ecology) with citizens and especially young people and children.
The “Athens Gardens Festival” is hosted by the Athens Art Network in collaboration with the Municipality of Athens, OPAN (Athens Municipality Cultural, Sports and Youth Organization), the Directorate of Greenery, Athens “Technopolis” and the Athens Traders Association,Environment.
The festival is supported by ΕΡΤ, 98.4 Radio Station, EATA (Athens Development and Touristic Promotion Company), the Attica-Argosaronikos Hotel Association, the EMSE-Cultural action, the National Conservatory Manolis Kalomiris and the Circus Dayz School.
Founder and artistic director of the festival is the coordinator of the Athens Art Network, Marios Strofalis.
