Athina Korda's ANTI THESSIS for Fall-Winter 2015-2016

During Athens Exclusive Designers Week Fashion designer Athina Korda presented her fall-winter 2015-16 collection "ANTI THESIS".

The inspiration of this collection comes from contradictions that exists around us and within us. Contrasting emotions and textures contributed to the completion of the "whole" through the unique perspective of the designer.
Each creation of the new collection is characterised by simplicity, strong geometric lines and contrasting fabrics that blend harmoniously with each other while maintaining the elegance and thereby assigned to each woman a unique style.

The presentation of the new collection ended with the slogan "Who made my clothes?" by the global movement Fashion Revolution (#FashRev).
Shortly before the end of the show an awareness video was presented, putting us all to ask ourselves "Who made my clothes?"
A female model closed the catwalk having written with paint all over her body the slogan of the movement.

About FASHION REVOLUTION DAY
The Global Fashion Revolution movement believes in fashion as a positive force for change towards greater transparency across the supply chain and operates in Greece by a volunteer group started with multiple actions of this year which will culminate on the 24th of April 2015.
The Fashion Revolution was launched on the occasion of the tragic accident on April 24, 2013, at the garment factories based in the Rana Plaza complex in Dhaka Bangladesh where 1133 people were killed and over 2500 employees were wounded.

The movement believes in a fashion industry where people, environment, creativity and profits have the same measure and the same value, and it is our responsibility to ensure that this happens.
