Zyanya Keizer is known for her creations, her designs look like pieces of art. They are an expression of fantasy. In her work you can see that Iris van Herpen is her mentor.
For her latest collection she experimented with unconventional materials and silhouettes, all inspired by nature, ethnic clothing and African Tribal body painting. With her collection she wants to attract the attention to African albinos, who are outlawed in their own countries.
The workmanship, the embroidery, the creativity and the many details were a pleasure for the eye. She used only shades of sand in her collection.
Also her catwalk show was unconventional. The models appeared on the catwalk leaving a trail of dust by walking in the sand and ending by standing in a decor of fabric panels.
I didn't select the best place to take photographs of her designs as I was behind the panels but I had the pleasure to enjoy the atmosphere of the show!
When the show was finished the guests could have a closer look at the designs.
Here my photo review.
