Yesterday afternoon in the center of Amsterdam Fashion designer Monique Collignon presented together with the ensemble of the Netherlands Chamber Orchestra a couture show at the DeLaMar Theatre as part of Fashion Week Amsterdam.
The guests were welcomed with a Scavi & Ray rosato and music by the Netherlands Chamber Orchestra.
When the sounds of violin, viola and cello started the models in haute couture strode slowly from the red staircase of DeLaMar Theatre's foyer.
Before entering the foyer the models posed until all of them where present and the lady in black opened the show while the guests were listening to the ensemble, performing works by Beethoven and Shostakovich.
Beautiful pieces of couture where presented one by one. For the fans of Monique Collignon is was not the first time they saw the collection, as it was presented during the 23rd Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Amsterdam but the ambiance was great, it was worthwhile to have a closer look at the well-made gowns.
And the icing on the cake was a bridal gown with impressive white lace sleeves.
Hairstyling was by Goldwell and make up by Dr. Hauschka
