Inspired and dedicated to a woman of style, Baroness Fiona von Thyssen Bornemisza de Kaszon, Vassilis Zoulias presented a stylish and sophisticated collection.
This demi couture collection is mostly based on cocktail dresses and long dramatic gowns inspired by Fiona and her early days as a model when she was posing as Fiona Frances Elaine Campbell Walter. She posed for almost all the legendary photographers such as Cecil Beaton, Richard Avedon and Henry Clark. Cecil Beaton said that she was his favorite muse with the type of mysterious sophisticated face that he adored and the gracefulness of a lady.
Flower prints on silk, precious laces and brocades blend all together in a new vibrant idea of romantic elegance.
The finale was all about Fiona, all the models were wearing a mask of Fiona.
Pericles Kondylatos also drew inspiration on Fionas Victorian and Edwardian references and created small wonders for princesses and baronesses of modern times.
Apollonia B extended her multiple talents in hand crafted semi precious stones to Zoulias signature chic pointy pumps.
My extended deepest gratitude to dear friend Fiona for the outpouring inspiration to all of us. The vain… yet endlessly exciting world of fashion will always move forward while looking back.Vassilis Zoulias
