The shows @ 23rd Athens Xclusive Designers Week

Twenty five shows where greek fashion designers, fashion brands and new talents presented their creations as part of the 23rd Athens Xclusive Designers Week.
Before a fashion show it is always chaotic, are the clothes ready in time, do we have the right shoes, are the models in time, are we ready to kick off? Did our guests arrive in time? Will they like my new creations? Will they buy it? Will the press write positive about it? So many questions, so many doubts  so don't judge them just scroll down and enjoy watching each creation!

Zappeio was the venue for most of the shows and I really like the place. It gives the shows allure, it is such a fascinating and charming place.

Some designers presented their spring/summer 2018 collection, while others presented the fall/winter 2018/2019 collection. A bit confusing but for the visitors a chance to buy immediately their favourite piece! And save money for coming season as some looks were must have for coming winter season.

I enjoyed reading the quote of Christian Dior: "Happiness is the secret to all Beauty. There is no Beauty without Happiness". It was the inspiration for the Spring-Summer 2018 collection of MI-RO. So lets have a look at what the designer duo presented.

Folli Follie is a Greek-based international company which designs, manufactures and distributes luxury jewellery, watches and fashion accessories. And for the first time it participated at the Athens Xclusive Designers Week.

Olga Karaververi presented her collection of printed satin fabrics.

Makis Tselios choose for a total black and white collection.

Summer vibes with Tassos Mitropoulos.

Fashion House Kathy Heyndels choose for a garden look.

Vassilis Zoulias was inspired by The Crown for his collection.

Getting ready for the summer with beachwear collections sponsored by Piz Buin.

Sotiris Georgiou choose for a lot of purple as for men as for women.

Stefanos Chrysafis covered the faces of the models, reminding me of 'The silence of the lambs".

Herminas Reea was all about blue and skin tones.

Celebrity Skin always invites greek celebrities to take part in their fashion show.

.LAK brought also nightwear to the runway.

Yiorgos Eleftheriades presented his mens and womenswear collection.

I always enjoy watching new talents during the new designer awards of AXDW. This time sponsored by Lufthansa. Irene-Louiza Andrikopoulou won the Best New Designer Award with her brand Lefkon and she will travel to Miami's Fashion Week to show her collection.

Best Trendsetter was Alexandra Fardi and the Best Catwalk Award went to Klelia Andrali with her new The Freak Show.

Let us not forget that such an event can't be made possible without all the sponsors! As I am not sponsored I just put Illy as without coffee we can't work! And Shiseido as the models were looking amazing!
