Presenting Four Top Models as New Icons for H&M

Fashion icons are making the street a catwalk. Top models like Joan Smalls, Daphne Groeneveld, Liu Wen and Lindsey Wixson are influencing fashion with their own personal style, which reaches millions of eyes around the world, through the street-style blogs and social media .
Their own wardrobe, outside their work, is the inspiration for the collection New Icons of H&M.

A summer collection with key pieces to get the street style look of the protagonists of the campaign: Joan, Daphne, Lindsey and Liu.
The collection will be available from April 18 to all stores of H&M and this morning I saw a glimpse of the collection already in the shop window.

The New Icon style is created from a mixture of influences: a black leather jacket worn with a lacy mini skirt with ruffles or a beautifully decorated vest combined with a frayed, particularly cotton and hot shorts.
The modern bohemian look is in the form of a long, transparent, black chiffon embroidered skirt or a top and a romantic blouse is the best choice for the first day of summer.

The collection is completed with selected cotton jackets and shirts that make every day special. Accessories tantalise the street-style look, as in bags with fringes and a striking wide-brimmed hat. The suede knee high boots give a boho feel, while the short, low-heeled booties are necessary for every New Icon.
