During the casting days 45 candidates were selected for the semi-final of Elite Model Look 2016.
More than 1,000 candidates participated the catwalk during the casting days of Elite Model Look 2016 in Utrecht, The Netherlands.
Applicants came from all corners of the country. Dozens went through to the next round and got their first Elite Model Look photo shoot. Nine boys and 36 girls were selected at the end of the day for the semi-finals.
The candidates were selected for their photogenic qualities, but the jury also looked at natural beauty and the potential for the demand of the current fashion trends. In short, the Elite characteristic combination of professionalism, elegance and beauty.
Semifinal and bootcamp
The semifinals will take place on July 2 at the Hilton Hotel Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. Here the struggle continues for the models-to-be for a place in the national final. Finally 10 boys and 10 girls will advance to the finals. After the semi-finals the candidates will be accompanied during the boot camp by the team UNDISPUTED.COM.
Elite Model Look
Elite Model Look is the most famous international modeling competition in the world and this year it is for the 33rd time in a row. Elite Model Look attracts more than 400,000 participants from 800 cities, 40 countries and five continents and offers boys and girls a unique opportunity to enter into the modeling world. Every year Elite Model Look Netherlands works with a charity. This year she joins forces with foundation Not Blind to draw attention to scientific research on blindness and visual impairment. The national final of Elite Model Look 2016 will, in cooperation with Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Amsterdam held on Sunday, the 10th ofJuly at the Gasometer in Amsterdam.
