Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari for Kenzo Fall 2014 ad campaign

If there is one brand that understands the importance of originality it is Kenzo, under the direction of Humberto Leon & Carol Lim the line has utilized innovative advertising and an off-kilter aesthetic filled with fun and hypnotic visuals.

For fall the label enlists Toilet Paper Magazine aka the creative duo of Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari to create a kooky world filled with surrealist details.
Fans of David Lynch will see nods to classics like Twin Peaks and Blue Velvet in Cattelan & Ferrari’s accompanying films and the campaign’s saturated images.
When you take into consideration that Lynch designed the set for Kenzo’s fall show the homage seems fitting, but this cool campaign is more than a tribute.

Guinevere Van Seenus and Robbie McKinnon bring the story to life with charm, making even the boldest patterns and brightest colors look just right.
