Mercedes-Benz FashionWeek Amsterdam: Roadshow, Fashion & Jewelry - day 2

The second day of Mercedes-Benz FashionWeek Amsterdam was celebrated yesterday in five Dutch cities.
The Mercedes-Benz FashionWeek Roadshow surprised the cities Amersfoort, Apeldoorn, Arnhem & Nijmegen.

During the pop-up catwalk show 12 models presented the summer collections of dutch fashion designers.

Among the designers were Antoine Peters, Dorhout Mees, Jonathan Christopher Homme, Maison the Faux, MLY, NŌN BY KIM, Paul Schulten, Pauline van Dongen, Ready to Fish by ILJA, Sjaak Hullekes, Spijkers en Spijkers and Tony Cohen.

In Amsterdam ‘Zalando presents 10 Days Downtown’ event Fashion & Jewelry took place at the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam. Fashion & Jewelry is part of ‘Zalando presents 10 Days Downtown'

Borre Akkersdijk, founder of ByBorre, talked about his work and his affinity with the Stedelijk Museum, innovation and design. He was interviewed by Arie Boomsma about several production processes he uses for his work, which was showcased at this event.

The event was inspired by the exhibition ‘The Gijs+Emmy Spectacle, Fashion and Jewelry Design by Gijs Bakker and Emmy van Leersum 1967–1972’ which now can be seen in the Stedelijk Museum.
