In an inspiring interview on TV Jan Taminiau told with passion and enthusiasm about his work and craftsmanship that makes couture so challenging and unique. About his intimate salon presentation in Paris on January 20th, and about his businees since the beautiful dress and cape Queen Maxima wore during the inauguration of her husband King Willem Alexander.
Jan believes in couture and his love for his work, he wants it to continue by creating unique pieces of art specially designed for his client, he is a true believer of slow fashion.
He explained how this glass dress was made, starting with silk organza, glass pieces, silk yarn and small pieces of fabric making it like small cubes. By telling you could see his joy he has in designing and creating new items. During the show he explained to the guests how each pieces was made and with a special app they could see all the small details on their tablets.
