Yesterday evening at The Booze Cooperative in the center of Athens Maria Milona opened her art exhibition 'My Soureal Work' (Life is a circus).`
Maria Milona was born in Athens, graduated from Veloudaki, and immediately began to work as a stylist for fashion magazines and television.
From a very early age she has her own particular style. A key feature of her work is surreal distortion and mood, which works through the parodies and sneer various aspects of life, love, politics and human existence itself .
All the works are hand-made and natural, without any programs using digital image formation.
It says that in art we must be truthful, authentic and express what we feel in our heart.
The ''SOUREAL'' characters could live in the present, past, future and say all these feelings that arise from social and political situation we are experiencing.

The exhibition is until the 18th of April, 2012, each day from 2 until 10 p.m.
