Yesterday evening at Athens Xclusive Designers Week Alexia Lap participated at the New Designers Contest and won the award for Best Catwalk with her menswear brand 'Sinister'.
Alexia Lap created in 2013 Sinister, a menswear brand inspired by avant-garde art and the dark style of the 20th century.
For spring-summer 2015 she created the collection "Chromophobia", the entire collection was off-white, afraid of colour...and she did a statement during her show about it.
The headpiece is made by Marios Karavasilis, the gloves and masks by Stefanos Peppe.

About the designer
Alexia studied psychology at the American College of Greece in Athens, but fashion was always her dream. She decided to study fashion design and during her studies she did her trainee ship at Celebrity Skin's atelier.
After being assistant of Dimitris Strepkos in many printed editorials, fashion movies and video clips, she started working as an independent stylist. She made some editorials published at Vogue.it , video clips for Greek singers and model's books for ModOn and Fashion Cult agencies .She has fashion columns at Q-Vibes.gr and Fashionlike.gr. She is also working as a fashion stylist at You magazine.
