As a little girl I was fascinated by crochet. Looking at my grandma and my mom seeing how they made some impressive handiwork. The needle going back and forward as the rhythm of music, in high speed.
I was excited when I received the invitation by Dorien and Martha to take pictures during their crochet workshop for beginners at The Knitwitch in Zoetermeer.
As you know I enjoy taking photos and now I could relive my memories of crocheting!
Also I did some crocheting when I was a little girl but to be honest I felt as a beginner too! I had to learn again all about the different stitches.
It was great to see how the students in no time created some crochets under supervision of Martha and Dorien. Both ladies are so enthusiastic about crocheting that you really want to learn more and more! There are so many different kind of stitches and so many patterns that you can create anything you could think of!
So my conclusion is that when you want to learn about crocheting or need help with your pattern you have found to make an amazing crochet, take a workshop! It is so much more fun than trying on your own with help from YouTube or a handbook.
