The first Vogue in The Netherlands

This week was the launch of the first issue of Vogue in the Netherlands, covering dutch models Ymre Stiekema, Romee Strijd en Josefien Rodermans captured by Marc de Groot. Fashion director is Marije Goekoop.

Romee Strijd in pink is wearing a dress by Acne Studios, Ymre Stiekema in a light blue Valentino dress and Josefien Rodermans in yellow set in Chanel.
Hair is done by Ilham Mestour and make up by Irena Ruben.

Personally I would have loved it when the models were wearing dutch design because there are very interesting and promising fashion designers in the Netherlands but of course the commercial department will have had a hand in it...

But one of the models is from my home town! It is nice to see that for the first issue Vogue put dutch models on the cover!

Also interesting are the answers from all the editors in chief of VOGUE worldwide on the question VOGUE is..
The editorial made in Amsterdam, through history dutch models in the American Vogue and an article about the exhibition by Iris van Herpen, my favorite dutch designer!
Ymre Stiekema captured by Marc de Groot for Vogue NL
May the cover be not so innovative, the editorial is worth looking at! Also one with the 'dutch masters'!
In the Netherlands the first issue is available.
