Ailene van Elmpt was invited to take part at The Painting by the Future Generation during the first day of Amsterdam Fashion Week. A concept for new designers, for us to watch and to follow.
Nine designers were invited to create something in white for a tableau vivant, The Painting.
For Ailene van Elmpt wasn't it her first time she participated at Amsterdam Fashion Week, in July 2016 she was a finalist at Lichting 2016.
Ailene is a 2016 graduate in Arnhem Fashion Design (ArtEZ) and her 3 designs presented for The Painting was a follow up of her graduation collection 'It's my fault'. Only this time all in white and a little black!
Her pleats are a recognisable item of her creations.
