Illustrating dreams, a fashion illustration exhibition in London

Today is the opening of a fashion illustration exhibition 
 (4pm - 8pm) at Gallery DIFFERENT, 14 Percy Street London. Participating illustrators are Alina Zamanova, Dorotea Pospihalj, Katarina Voloder, Orch Eratli and Nas Abraham.
 


As London prepares to honour the latest breed of designers, Fashionstyleology IS taking its own steps to honour both the current and upcoming breed of fashion illustrators to have joined the scene.
And how best than to host an exclusive exhibition, dedicated to showcasing their latest and most exciting creations.
From the pool of talent, Fashionstyleology has picked five illustrators/designers to bring the best of what they have to offer to LFW and exhibit their work at the renowned Gallery Different.

Here we introduce you to our “One’s to Watch”;

Alina Zamanova
Since locating to London in 2010, Alina is making a reputable name for herself as an all round artist, animator and illustrator.

Studying a BA Hons in Fashion Illustration at the prestigious London College of Fashion, whilst simultaneously showcasing her work in various fashion publications, Alina has come a long way from her humble Ukrainian beginnings. Her intricate illustrative skills and exclusive prints make Alina one of the most exciting illustrators around.

Dorotea Pospihalj
Since beginning her fashion journey from the prestigious Italien Instituto Marangoni Milan, Dorotea now lives in london where she is preparing to launch her self title clothing line, Dorotea P London- an eclectic mix Middle Eastern insprired kartans showcasing a variety of colours and fabrics. Currently working as a fashion illustrator on commissions which combine different styles with her distinctive signature sketches.

Dorotea draws inspiration from social movements and modern society, whilst staying true to her European heritage. Her idea is to bring together cultural differences and tie them together with one common print. Katarina Voloder
A firmly established Print Designer offering excellent services in designing original prints for seasonal collections as well as exclusive collaborations and one-off projects, Katrina has well and truly cemented her place on the fashion scene.

Her Croatian and German heritage are reflective in the distinctive, bold graphics with a signature use of colour, which have been commissioned by a broad range of clients from top fashion houses through to major high street brands and online retailers. Some of these include Lily and Lionel, The Body Shop, Hunter Boots, Pigeons & Peacocks, Roger Vivier, Fortnum & Mason, Matches Fashion, Kay Unger and many more.

Orch Eratli
Paying homage to homegrown talent, Orch Eratli is fully representative of everything British. Known for his picture book style illustrations, Orch is quickly making himself known on the fashion scene.Orch was born in London but draws inspiration from the calm green surroundings of the British countryside which he visits twice a year.

His love of picture books has lead to his unique and distinct watercolour, ink style which he has been developing ever since he was old enough to grasp a pen and paper. Orch Studied BA Animation in university and is a self taught designer. Orch now works freelance as an illustrator and has his own range of quirky, classic bow ties which are available to buy.

Nas Abraham
From the real-life animal sketches to edgy fashion drawings, Nas Abraham’s skills go beyond than just his illustrations. His ability to adapt himself and his beloved tools to the requested mood and environment make Nas one the most versatile illustrators to have made an impact on the scene in a long time.

A creative enthusiast and inspiration junkie. Multimedia graphic artist/ fashion illustrator by day, pretty much the same by night. He also sees a strong correlation between design and musicality.
