George Michael wowed fans on the first date of his tour. The singer welcomed the audience to "a very different evening with George Michael".
Accompanied by a symphony orchestra, the star played a sell-out concert at the Prague State Opera House.
The intimate venue provided the backdrop for covers of My Baby Just Cares For Me and True Faith as well as for the opportunity to come clean about his relationship.
He said the break-up with Kenny had prompted him to write a song called Where I Hope You Are.
Michael also paid tribute to singer Amy Winehouse, who died last month. He said it was unbelievably heartbreaking that there would be no more music from her.
In the interview for the tour programme, he further spoke of getting into trouble with the law, saying he deserved to be jailed last year for crashing his Range Rover after smoking marijuana.
He said he felt going to jail was karma, adding: "I had a bill to pay and I thought that prison was a logical conclusion to a very long, dark chapter."
There are currently 65 shows on the European leg of Symphonica - The Orchestral Tour, I hope he will be adding Athens too!
On October 25 he will be in Great Brittain for a performance at the Royal Albert Hall.
