OAT Shoes after 2nd prize of The Green Fashion Competition is blooming

In january Christiaan Maats of OAT shoes won the second prize of the Green Fashion Competition during Amsterdam Fashion Week with his Virgin Collection and since than his enterprise is booming.
"The Green Fashion Competition is a competition for entrepreneurs in the fashion industry, for individuals (and teams) with a vision of what the future of fashion should look like. The aim of the competition is to find the talented entrepreneurs in the industry who aim to create a fashion business while sustaining biodiversity."
Since than OAT shoes can be bought in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany but this Virgin Collection is also for sale on line.

At the website of OAT shoes they say:
"That's right, you can bury our nifty sneakers after they're worn down, water regularly and watch flowers bloom from your old kicks!"
So they really believe they made a 'green' product and won herewith the second prize.

During the AIFW in July he presented his new collection 'Limited Skin'. (See my previous post.) During this presentation Lonneke Engel, international topmodel and ambassador launched the second Green Fashion Competition, so if you have a great idea and like to participate go to The Green Fashion Competition!
